The People's Congregation of Shakers and Movers is thrilled to welcome Jenna Lowe and her expertise as an astrologer, adding a valuable resource to our community for connection and support. She will guide us in exploring astrology as a powerful modality for healing and understanding our place on Earth, and relationships, and offering invaluable insights and support as we navigate the complexities of this crazy-ass world in 2024. At this point, I don't know about you, but I will take all the insight I can get trying to make sense of it all!!
Jenna, how long have you been practicing astrology?
I have been practicing astrology since 2019. This ancient practice has been instrumental in interpreting and understanding the experiences of both myself and my clients.
Where did you learn about astrology and what is your approach when seeing clients?
I formally studied under Steven Forrest at the Forrest Center for Evolutionary Astrology. The primary lens of my work uses an evolutionary approach, which blends psychological and spiritual avenues, interpreting our soul’s decisions and ultimate evolutionary goals in this lifetime.
I have a special interest in working with adopted, trafficked, and displaced individuals. The intersectionality of trauma-informed counseling and astrology presented itself to me early on, and I continue this work with an organization called Adoption Mosaic for support.
Tell us about the event you are hosting at PCSM!
You can join us on September 27th at our Integrated Recovery Practices Friday night circle, where we will explore the 12 zodiac signs. We will discuss what the Sun and Moon signify astrologically, as two incredibly important pieces of any astrological analysis, be it the current astrology in the sky, our natal charts i.e. the map of our soul’s journey in this lifetime, or any of the other countless ways we can chart, or interpreted the world through an astrological lens.
